FULL SCALE ARIEL VIEW OF YOUR HOME
This includes a full Ariel view of your home which includes numerous images and videos which will be shown to you in person and sent to you via your email if you would like us to.
You can see any faults with your own eyes without the doubt of possibly being misled.
CONDITION OF YOUR ROOF AND TILES
We will examine your roof and tiles.
Inspecting anything out of the ordinary and providing you with a report if anything negative is found.
With this detailed report you will receive a more accurate quote from roofers.
CONDITION OF GUTTERING AND FACIA
Inspection of your facia to make sure there are no cracks, aging or rotten parts. We will check that the facia is structurally sound.
Inspection of the guttering includes checking for any cracks or damage. Making sure there are no blockages and rain water can run freely.
After the drone survey is complete, you will be provided with a checklist of all areas of your roof.
If there are any issues we will recommend the best course of action to fix these issues. We will also provide an approximate quote so you have an idea of what the costs will be to fix any issues.
LIFE EXPECTANCY OF YOUR ROOF
Within this part of your roof report we will provide the life expectancy of your roof. How many years before we expect your roof needs a full replacement.
CONDITION OF RIDGING & VERGES
This check will inspect any mortar on the roof of your property.
The Ridge is what sits on top of your roof and these are usually Triangular or C shaped.
The Verges are the ends/sides of your roof.
The ridge and/or verges are usually the parts of a roof that fail first this because the weather tends to hit these points more.
By having an inspection of your roof every 1-5 years you can maintain your roof preventing costly repairs or renewal.
CONDITION OF CHIMNEYS
This check will examine the following:
Flaunching, also known as chimney cap\crown
Chimney Stack, looking for erosion in any bricks, stone or cement works.
Flashings (usually lead
Back Gutter (These tend to leak after a certain age)
CONDTION OF ALL LEAD
We will check all the lead on your roof for expansion tears and any age related erosion.
Lead on your roof should last anywhere between 150-200 years if it has been installed properly.
When lead is not installed properly the heat of the sun can make the lead expand and in the winter the lead retracts, eventually causing a split\tear in the lead.
ROOF WINDOWS/SKY LIGHTS
Within this check we will check for age and weather related damage to your roof windows\lights.
Often over many years moss and leaves can get trapped behind the window flashings or within the back gutter tray of the window eventually trapping water. This water will cause a damp patch within this area which will begin to rot and weaken the battens\timbers of your home.

The meterage of lead used on your roof and the current price per meter.
The meterage of battens used on your roof and their current price per meter.
The square meterage of tiles used on your roof approximately.
The Meterage of how much felt is on your roof and the current cost.
An approximate cost of all materials needed to replace your roof.
